Steven is a co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of the Descartes Labs, developing automated crop yield forecasts with remote sensing imagery. He will share a private sector perspective around geospatial data products and services that modern deep-learning technologies can deliver to farmers and their service providers - as well as the challenges and opportunities in doing that for smallholder farmers in Africa and Asia.
