Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer

Steven is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Descartes Labs. Prior to Descartes, Steven was a Senior Research Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Information Sciences Group, and led LANL’s deep learning computer vision projects for satellite imagery, aerial video, and social media video analysis at petabyte scale. His PhD is in theoretical particle physics from the University of Melbourne.
